Example Lead Ginger Spice said Sunday she is leaving the Spice Girls, but the all ‑ girl pop group will continue to perform with four members. Who - Spice Girls What - There will only be 4 performing members. When - Ginger said this on Sunday. Where - (England?) Why - Ginger Spice is leaving. How - They will continue to perform.

Remember... A news article is straight-forward and doesn’t include opinions or feelings of the author. A lead provides the readers with the information they need immediately. A news article that is organized correctly could end any time after the lead and still have the information needed.
