3 GREAT BRITAIN It is an island lying to the northwest of Continental Europe It is the largest island in Europe. It is separated from the European Continent by the North Sea and the English Channel. Comprises of three countries: England, Scotland and Wales. The capital of Great Britain is London. Big cities are Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Liverpool.
