Nothing can happen by itself The universe cannot have happened by itself Therefore, God exists A very powerful cause was necessary to bring the universe into bringing This cause has to be God Everything that happens must be caused by something else

‘In the cosmos as we experience it, it is obvious to us that some things change. Now, whatever changes must be changed by another. And if that other itself changes then that too must be changed by another. But this cannot go on to infinity…you eventually have to arrive at something that is unchanging. This is God’ Task: What is Aquinas saying? Eventually there has to be something which is the first cause

After studying animals and insect life from many different countries I came to the conclusion that all living things have evolved over a period of time to suit the environment they live in. According to modern scientists, apes have genetic material in common with human beings – this suggests that human beings evolved from apes. This suggests that God did not create all life uniquely, but that it evolved from one source
49
You can believe in God and believe in these theories! The Big Bang must have been part of God’s plan. I’m a Creationist! These scientific theories are all wrong! Everything written in Genesis is completely true! There was no big bang! SO, some Christians believe that you can believe in God and these scientific theories. Other Christians believe that these theories are wrong and the Bible tells us how the world began.
