7 LEARNING STYLES Your learning style is the way in which you learn most easily and effectively. By identifying this style, you will be able to make the most of your learning environment. Once you identify the ways you learn best, you can modify your study environment and tailor your study experience to meet the needs of your own learning style. Examples If you learn better by listening than by reading, you might find it helpful to record yourself reading your assignments and then listen to the tape afterward. If you learn best by actively participating in the task, you may find it helpful to experiment with new activities where you can apply the information you have read.

9 DISCUSSION First, identify your learning style by taking the online learning style inventory accessible through the button above. Under New Users in the middle of the page, click “free online learning styles inventory” so that you can create a free account. You will be able to log back into this site to view your results and print them when you are finished. Each learning styles is explained in the links on the left hand side of the page. After you have identified your learning style, respond to the discussion questions below. Your initial responses should be in the 150- word range (approximately 10-12 sentences). Of course, you are welcome to elaborate further. Find someone who has different learning styles than you do. What tips could you give them based on your understanding of the learning styles? (50 words, 5-6 sentences)
