5 Why it works ”Donor co-ordination in MD is regional best practice” Energy Community Frequent meetings: 1/month, (2/month in the beginning) Dynamic meetings: allow time for detailed discussions (2-3 hrs/meeting) Current affairs: review latest sector developments Trustful discussions: - no official notes - separate open and closed session Establish working groups on a needs basis (e.g. statistics, support to SME development)

6 Next Steps Further strengthen Sector Council and clarify division of labor with Donor Coordination Group Strengthen coordinate with regional and local development activities Strengthen coordinate with related sector (water, environment, transport) Systematic Monitoring Structure: From project/program monitoring to sector wide approach Improved data: who does what where; results and lessons learnt Stronger engagement with smaller donors as well as donors without local representation Sector agenda for registration of events and missions
