Present Progressive To form the present progressive you must use a form of the verb estar and a present participle: EstoyEstamos EstásX EstáEstán Present Participles For –ar verbs add –ando to the end For –er/-ir verbs add –iendo to the end Hablar Hablando Comer Comiendo Escribir Escribiendo Estoy hablando – I’m speaking Estamos comiendo – We’re eating
