Paleolithic Age: Earlier and longer part of the Stone Age. 2.5 million B.C. to 8000 B.C. Neolithic: New Stone Age. Began in 8000 B.C. and lasted until 3000 B.C. Technology: Ways of applying knowledge, tools and inventions to meet their needs Homo Sapiens: Species named for modern humans. Means “wise men”.
