The theme was written by… Theodore C. Sorensen, (May 8, 1928 – October 31, 2010). He was an American presidential adviser, lawyer, and writer, best known as President John F. Kennedy’s special counsel, adviser, and legendary speechwriter. President Kennedy once called him his “intellectual blood bank.” He wasasked to write a vision for the country at a moment of high tension, the result of a disastrous war abroad and division and drift at home in America. This speech is where our theme has come from. Learning to Live Life to the Full

Listen, not lecture... Consider the following situations. Why would it be better to listen and not lecture when: 1.You are being told off for something that you feel is not fair? 2.Someone has a different belief or opinion than you? However, consider: Is it always better to listen to others, rather than express your view? Learning to Live Life to the Full

Learn, not threaten We should learn from one another and not bully or intimidate others for being different from us. Do you agree? Give reasons. Learning to Live Life to the Full
