3 CURRENT NEWSPAPERS Current-day local news and events. Try to be more objective. Editorial comment usually assigned to a few pages of letters and opinion pieces.

4 OLDER NEWSPAPERS Abundance of personal news and social items. Reporting not as objective as today. Lots of gossip and scandal reporting and opinion. Flowery language.
