1:30pm Players arrival Senior Players to arrive Physio to confirm/clarify player wellbeing Short coaches meeting (awaiting on team sheet) Clarify Assistants jobs for the day

Match Analysis cont. Roles (1 - 10min) 1 st Assistant Coach To observe and take notes on oppositions system/structure and review players This process reinforces from team sheet provided If different to be advised to Head Coach If not - no feed back needed

Match Analysis cont. Roles cont. 2 nd Assistants Coach (stand) To observe and take notes on players conditioning ie - individual players on physical condition on performance (20 - 40min) Head Coach and Assistant Coach left open for discussion

Half-Time Team Talk 1 st 5 minutes Head coach and Assistant Coaches to talk about finalising what is going to be delivered to players Establish coaches roles - either talking to players individually or as a group

Half-Time Team Talk cont. 2 nd 5 minutes Head Coach delivers information Explain changes Q’s & A’s could be available to players Once Head Coach is about to finish, the role of Assistant coach is to quietly remind him if any points were forgotten (if not mentioned) during talk
