1. WELCOME TO MRS. SMITH’S WORLD YOU AND YOUR ADHERENCE TO SCHOOL AND CLASS RULES ARE WELCOME

3. Profanity/Inappropriate Conversation  Inappropriate:  Any conversation while teacher is talking  “N-Word”  Profanity/Cussing/Etc.  Sexual  Gossip  Mean/Disrespect/Argumentative toward another student or faculty  Loud talking/yelling during class

4. IF YOU WOULDN’T SAY IT TO Jesus, Your Mom, Principal Pittman, Bishop Summerfield, etc. THEN JUST DON’T SAY IT Create a world of positivity, love, and respect with your words

5. Movement In/Outside the Classroom  When class starts, you are on MY TIME  There is NO leaving the classroom  Go to the bathroom before class  Take care of issues with other teachers before class  Go to your locker before class  Get water before class  Get your lunch/snack etc. after class  Tell your parents, etc. to leave it in the office for you.  There is NO Movement around the classroom without permission  Get a pass to enter class LATE

6. Internet Surfing  Stay off YouTube  Do not play computer games unless instructed  Do not use the Internet unless instructed to do so for a classroom project or assignment

7. Cellphones  No Cellphone usage unless instructed to use it by Mrs. Smith  No Texting  No Face-Timing  No Snap-Chat or other social media  Basically, don’t touch it!  If you think you need to use it, ask, then respect the answer.

8. Talking out of Turn  No talking while Mrs. Smith is talking.  Raise your hand if you have a question or comment.  No talking while another student or presenter has the floor to speak.

9. NO FOOD OR DRINK!!! No Food or Drink IF I SEE IT, IT WILL GO IN THE TRASH IF I FIND CRUMBS OR EVIDENCE NEAR YOUR SEAT, YOU WILL RECEIVE A ZERO

10. Disrespect  ANY Disrespect toward me of any kind will result in a write-up.  If I observe you disrespecting a faculty member inside or outside my classroom, I will write you up and communicate it to coach.  If I observe you or any student blatantly disrespecting school rules outside my classroom, it will result in a write-up and communication with coach.  Respect the principles that Word of God Christian Academy is founded upon and the God that we serve.

11. CONSEQUENCES You will receive a Zero Participation Grade for the day of your offense EVERY OFFENSE will be reported to your parents/coach Three Zeros or Three Offenses = Write-Up sent to Academy Office

13. LOVE  I Love You – Yes You! This means that I:  Will Support You  Will Challenge You  Will Expect the Best from You  Will Apply Correction When Needed  The Bible says, “Whom the Lord loves, He corrects.” ~Proverbs 3:12 NKJV

Creativity and Hard Work  I love your ideas – please share them!  Good work ethics are important to develop now so that you can be successful not only in school but in life.  Laughter is good for everyone. Let’s have fun while respecting God and the principles of Word of God Christian Academy.

15. YOU HAVE MY SUPPORT  If there is anything I can help you with, whether it pertains to this classroom or not, I will try.  This extends beyond WOGCA. You have an extended world of support in me – access to me and my network, if you so desire and demonstrate through your respect of me and my world.
