OpenText Migration Process (2)
The overall process of the migration is split into two steps which are run separately: Extraction: The Extractor tool loads the document’s metadata and the folder structure into the file system Site creation: The Extractor tool creates all required sites in Alfresco Import: The Migration tool processes the meta data, and maps it to Alfresco properties, fetches the content from the OpenText repository and finally imports documents and metadata to Alfresco

Workflow to control document publishing Registered users can add document in “drop-in” folder New document in this folder trigger a moderation workflow: The moderators get an notification with a request for document approval The moderators can publish a document so it becomes visible to all member of the CoP It is also possible to “unpublish” documents The document author gets a notification about (un)publishing actions Moderated document publishing workflow

Publish KPs to the internet This solution allows to retrieve KP’s from various content sources, manage the metadata according to the IDB KM taxonomy and publish the KP’s on the isdb.org website.
