AIMS AIMS to develop transversal competences such as social, civic, cultural and intercultural competences and entrepreneurship All the activities focus on: A national report on intercultural trainings methodology cultural focus. The project CULT focuses on best practice samples of intercultural trainings can assist people in cultural/intercultural understanding organizing training sessions for the staff involved in adult education implementing intercultural team- teaching and other collaborative working methods organizing projects on Intercultural education, developing intercultural workshops of intercultural trainings research and best practice selection. establish/increase cultural understanding and intercultural competences

Research for the analysis on national intercultural trainings: “Intercultural perspective is open to all, not only to minorities.” Intercultural education is defined as a system of relations between different cultures. These mutual relationships can can rely on several processes: a process of intercultural interaction and another one of perception of one another other, but also on the process of transfer and reception between different cultures.

These programs are fundamental and open to change, allowing learners to gradually understand the cultural code of the mainstream society and to acquire the necessary skills and tools to develop personal autonomy and self confidence in society, intercultural education should develop programs designed to fulfill the basic needs of minority groups The role of training/school as a means of adaptation, socialization and inclusion of learners from minority groups Research-guidelines developed in the project

ANALYSES OF INTERCULTURAL TRAININGS : TRAINING - SETTING CONTENT OF TRAINING: Content of the training Core elements/subjects Used tools and methods METHODOLOGICAL - to provide the possibility to transfer approaches in educational practice INITIAL Questionnaire: Definition Intercultural training Actors in the promotion and provision of intercultural training Methodology Content Intercultural trainings in the educational system Barriers of intercultural trainings Constructivist pedagogy is a pedagogical approach based on interaction and makes students build their own viewpoints The learning must be based on learning from experience and the constructivist type methodology Training methods are interactive and participatory PEDAGOGICAL - such as teaching materials: sheets, tables, boards, collections of texts, authentic documents, libraries, documentation centers, museums, exhibitions, cultural events, school correspondence, etc. CONCEPTUAL - able to provide a suitable approach to multicultural situation and provide interpretation quizzes according to its diversity
