During Character & Career Class, students will use I Have a Plan Iowa (IHAPI) to… ◦ Research careers based on interest inventory questions ◦ Explore careers through “Guideways” in preparation for post-secondary training ◦ Create a 4-year plan, which will be utilized in high school

STEM: Math sequence continues: 8 th Algebra I or Geometry; Accelerated Science, Engineering Science Olympiad, Math Counts, Technology Club (TSA) HUMANITIES: Option to take Advanced Language Arts classes, differentiation in Social Studies. Foreign Language begins. Writing Club, Spanish & French Club ELP Humanities pullout during Character & Career Class to provide additional challenge.
