9. How do I dress for my graduation ceremony?  Dress for success – like if you were going to a job interview  You have to look sharp!  Your dress needs to reflect your success – You are a high school graduate! Dress with pride!!

23. Entering the Auditorium Your graduation gown must be over your arm or on a hanger so that… 1.You can show us how nice you are dressed.

24. Entering the Auditorium 2. So that you can show us that the only hat that you have planned on wearing is a graduation hat. NO

27. Entering the Auditorium Once you enter the Auditorium you must take your seat -

28. Count Down 6:30 PM Dr. Green will bring the “Class of 1966” into the Auditorium

29. Count Down 6:35 PM The “Class of 1966” will be led to Gridley Stadium

30. Count Down Procession will begin at 6:40 PM and at 7:00 PM Tucson High School’s 1 st Graduate on the field!

32. AFTER THE CEREMONY Envelopes containing Diploma a copy of transcripts and much more important information will be distributed in cafeteria for 30 minutes past the ceremony. Graduates ONLY report to cafeteria to pick up their OWN envelope. Must be in cap and gown OR have identification. Envelopes not picked up following the ceremony may be picked up BY STUDENT in attendance beginning Thursday – MUST HAVE ID

33. AFTER THE CEREMONY Lights will remain on for 1 hour following the ceremony for pictures. Please determine a meeting point for you and your graduate prior to the ceremony!

34. Parking Information Limited parking will be available in the parking garage off of 8 th Street. Handicapped parking will be available in the following areas on a first come first served basis:  In the parking lot directly behind the gymnasium on East 8 th Street.  West of the stadium on North 3 rd Ave.  There will be limited handicapped parking in the main parking lot on East 8 th Street, and in the front parking lot on East 6 th Street.

36. Parking Information Additional parking will be available at the District Office at 1010 E. 10 th Street. This lot is located directly north of the district offices. Tucson Unified School District’s transportation department will provide shuttle service from the parking lot to Tucson High Magnet School. The shuttles will run from 4:30 to 6:40 p.m., at five minute intervals.The shuttle service will continue at five minute intervals for one hour after the ceremony. The University of Arizona will allow the use of all surface parking after 5:00 p.m. on Graduation Day. Please observe all UA parking regulations ( e.g. handicapped parking and official parking spaces). There will be shuttle services from the UA surface lots ( see attached map).

38. Parking Information Parking will be available at Roskruge Middle school for $5. Parking will also be available at the UA parking garages. Prices range from 5 to 8 dollars. The closest garage is located on North Euclid Ave., just south of University Street. An additional garage is located on Euclid, north of East University. No shuttle services will be available from these lots. Access to the front lot on 6 th St. will be limited to guests and staff with a “Graduation Parking” permit.
