S.M.I.L.E. A successful campaign: Staff Involvement – Plan activities for team members to enjoy and reward them for pledges. Make the Goal Clear – Set a clear campaign goal, make sure your team knows this goal and understands the importance. Provide daily motivation and updates on your progress. Increase Campaign Participation – Make it easy for your team to participate. $25 donation buy-in option or pledge increase. Leadership Support – Have a leader within the organization help chair the campaign. Very beneficial with increasing contributions and participation. Engage Your Local Community – Alert your local businesses of your fundraising activities. Many are happy to donate prizes or gift certificates to use during your campaign.
