Relevant Vocabulary Right Angle: An angle that measures 90 degrees Perpendicular: Lines, segments or rays that intersect forming at least one 90° angle. (How do I write one line or segment is perpendicular to another with symbols?) Equidistant – a point A is said to be equidistant from two different points B and C if AB = AC. A point A is said to be equidistant from a point B and a Line l if the distance between A and l is equal to AB.

Parallel Lines Algebraically – two lines with the same slope. Geometrically – Two lines in a plane that never intersect. ( HOW DO WE MARK THEM on the diagram?) How do we say one line is parallel to another using symbols.

Skew Lines Two lines that do not intersect and are not parallel.
