The original (?) caption identifies Mico Chlucco as "King of the Muscogulges or Cricks." Compiled and translated from several sources by Johann Friedrich Schröter, with a preface by Siegmund Jakob Baumgarten. The Creek pictograph on the left shows "that ten of that nation of the Stag family came in three canoes into their enemies country, that six of the party near this place,... had met two men, and two women with a dog, that they lay in ambush for them, killed them, and that they all went home with the four scalps; the scalp in the stag's foot implied the honour of the action to the whole family." Newbery, at the Bible and Sun, in St. Paul's Church-Yard Source date 1760 notes In 1734 James Oglethorpe brought the native Americans, Tomochichi (Mico or king of the Yammacraws), Senawki (his consort), Toonakowi (his nephew), Hillipilli, Apakowtski, Stimalechi, Sintouchi, Hinguithi, Umphychi, and five other chiefs with their interpreter to the English court at Kensington. They had been brought there to renew the peace treaty of the Creek nations with the British. Tomochichi presented George II with eagle feathers.Volume five contains an account of the British discoveries in America and voyages around the world. The Spanish scuttled three warships in the harbor to prevent the British warships from entering. In 1768, John Bowles published Scenographia Americana, a collection of previously issued prints. The views in these prints were made from drawings that were drawn on the spot, often by military artists. This print is held separately. Its watchtower was blown up during the successful siege by the English in 1762. The chain reached across the harbor to the Castillo de la Punta.
