4  Subway -- started by a 17 year old trying to earn money to fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor.  Borrowed $1000 from a friend.  Today – more than 38,000 stores in over 100 countries.

7  Students work on projects to reinforce skills and learning of new material.  After several smaller performance based assessments – students will create a culminating project using all of the skills and objectives learned throughout several units.

9 Students are to create/demonstrate:  Sports & Entertainment Promotional Plan  Develop a seasonal sales promotion plan for a sports and/or entertainment company  Present the plan in a role-playing situation to the company manager

20 Benefits The organization of the Detroit Tigers will greatly benefit from our promotional plan. The Detroit Tigers would not only be helping keep teens engaged and out of trouble, but they will also be bringing more teens to love Americas past time. With this promotional plan we expect to enhance our teen demographic with all the new students coming to the games, but we also expect to keep them pleased and coming back for years to come.
