Hazard Analysis Objective: Help people better prepare for natural disasters 1. Explain the possible natural disasters that may occur and their potential impacts - For example (floods, droughts, fires etc) 2. How likely is that an event will occur? - Provide past examples: Did these natural disasters occur during previous El Ninos? What happened? Did people die? Were homes or buildings destroyed? - Be specific with numbers and examples - Use maps or graphs showing the difference in temperature or rainfall between El Nino and non-Nino years 3. What can people do to prepare? -
