The Miracle of Peckham Del Boy goes to church to seek forgiveness for some stolen goods he has recently purchased. The priest explains to Del how he is beginning to doubt the existence of God because the Church’s local hospice is facing closure unless they can raise £1 million. As Del is about to leave something extraordinary happens …

Watch the ‘Saints and Angels’ episode and fill out the Songs of Praise analysis sheet. Songs of Praise is a Christian worship programme broadcast on Sunday afternoons. It contains hymn singing, interviews and prayers. The words of the hymns are played across the screen (karaoke style) so that people at home can join in. Some people will watch it at home instead of going to Church, particularly the sick, infirm or disabled.
