A focus on communication Continued commitment from Bolton Council to Every Child a Talker (ECaT) programme All early years settings to identify a Communication Champion –Launched at ‘Learn to Communicate- Communicate to Learn’ September 2011 Funded a newly created post of Communication Coordinator to lead, support and develop the Communication Champion Programme Bolton Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service committed to 0.5 FTE Speech and Language Therapist to work collaboratively with Communication Coordinator. Developing an early years communication strategy as part of a revised early years educational improvement strategy
