Expect to see 2x performance. Important: MU-MIMO needs to be supported by the client as well Requires new client hardware (chipset) Not supported/enabled on any current client devices

Improved RF efficiency. When to lead with the 320 Series: Customer wants highest performance/density (prior we positioned 220) Customer wants investment protection with Wave 2 at a slight premium Customer wants simplicity of integrated BLE for Mobile Engagement, Retail Competitive Ruckus R710 and Cisco 18xx(?) very similar hardware and high-level specs;  BUT, competitive products lack maturity, stability and performance of AOS-W and InstantOS

15 15 COPYRIGHT © 2014 ALCATEL-LUCENT ENTERPRISE. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. ALCATEL-LUCENT ENTERPRISE — INTERNAL PROPRIETARY — USE PURSUANT TO COMPANY INSTRUCTION WHAT’S WRONG WITH COMPETITORS WAVE 2 PRODUCTS? Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO) only delivers benefit when there are multiple Wave 2 clients on an AP to allow for simultaneous transmissions. Without client steering, they leave it to chance as to how clients are grouped, or not, on a Wave 2 AP. This is especially critical in the early stages when there are few Wave 2 clients.  Sell value of ClientMatch™ with MU-MIMO Awareness
