3 NEW: Climate Changes Reporting System for Future Earth The Climate Change reporting system by is announced which is an electronic language of the 'XML' family. " Companies are increasingly reporting on their carbon footprints as a way to measure their direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions. The climate change reporting taxonomy will allow companies to enhance such data collection and streamline their carbon reporting processes.“ Brad J. 4 eXtensible Business Reporting Language, or XBRL as it is eXtensible Business Reporting Language, or XBRL as it is more commonly known, is about to transform the way companies report their climate change information. XBRL is already widely used for financial reporting in the Japan where it is mandated by the Ministry of Finance and Tax Agency.
