Career My name is Matthew Brown. I am 14 years old. My passion is, one of knowledge. The career I chose was an Astrophysicist. I chose this because I like Astrophysics.

My Personality My personality subtype is Field Marshal. This personality means I am a leader. My job is in need of leaders. They need leaders for research projects.

Astrophysicist Astrophysicists prove and test theories about space. A typical day is usually calculating data. You also have to wright reports everyday. You have to try to get grants.

Working Conditions Mostly indoors, a few hours out doors. Pro, you do a little physical labor. Con, you don’t have a constant job. Pro, its mostly indoors. Hours, 9-to-5 weekdays, mostly at night.

Skills Needed Have to be Curious. Have to be Analytical. Have an interest in physics and math. Have to be comfortable with public speaking. Able to work in a group.

Demand The demand for this job is little. Every university major has an astrophysicist. The government give jobs to astrophysicist.

Salary Approx. $105,000 a year in Michigan. Government Astrophysicists are paid approx. $131,000. Usually around $50 dollars an hour.

Education Need to take science classes in High School. Need to get a doctorate in collage. University of Toledo is the collage I will attend. The collage is in Toledo. The cost is around $18,000 a year.
