5 Academic Status (GPA as Reported on KSIS) Academic Warning: Students will be placed on academic warning if they have earned less than a 2.0 semester or cumulative GPA. Students will automatically be taken off academic warning when both semester and cumulative GPA’s reach 2.0 or above. University Dismissal Total Hours CompletedK-State GPA 20-291.50 30-451.75 46-601.80 61-751.85 76-901.90 91-1051.95 Greater than 1052.00

6 Academic Status Summer and Intersession course work does not change a student’s warning status. A student who earns less than a 1.0 semester GPA in their first semester at K-State will be dismissed.

7 College of Education GPA A 2.75 GPA is required for admission to the College of Education. This GPA is calculated from all attempted courses that meet degree program requirements, including all graded transfer and K-State credits. – This requirement must be met for admission to teacher education A 3.0 GPA must be maintained within the Professional Education Courses (blocks)
