2 Background The basic objective of Intensive Training Programme (ITP) is to undertake saturation training of the frontline personnel manning the public service delivery chain in identified sectors & in specific geographical area.

3 LOA The Academy signed LOA with DoPT on 24.11.2008 for the programme to be implemented in U.P. Academy identified district Jhansi of UP for the project & undertook five sectors i.e. Education, Health, Social Work, Revenue & Rural Development. Under CBPR project Rural Development sector was already been taken up i.e. why Academy decided to take up P.D.S. 4 TNA Academy conducted a Training Need Analysis (TNA) exercise for all the sectors. The outcome of TNA contains training & non-training implications in different categories of each sector.

Course material for Revenue Sector has been printed & the Academy has scheduled to conduct a TOT from December 12 to 17, 2011. Now training to all revenue staff at the district level is supposed to be completed in January 2012. The course material for other sector is in the process of printing. 40 Uttar Pradesh being a large State with varying topography and demography, the Academy proposes to replicate this process in six districts lying in the Bundelkhand region of the State during 2012-13 having different type of physical and social conditions. Activities For 2012-13
