2. What is a rain forest? A rainforest is a sunny, warm place where animals live. Some animals that live there are toucans, tree frogs, boa constrictors, and jaguars. The rainforest has five layers which are Emergent layer, Canopy layer, Middle layer, Shrub layer, and the Herb layer.

3. Location of Rain Forests The location of the rainforests are Asia, South America, Africa, Central America, and Australia. The biggest rainforest is in South America. Europe and North America don’t have any rainforests.

4. Emergent Layer Some animals that live in the Emergent layer are Harpy eagles, toucans, and macaws. The Emergent layer has tall trees and is the the tallest layer of them all. The Emergent layer has the fewest of animals of all the layers.

5. Canopy Layer Some of the animals in the Canopy layer are boa constrictors, toucans, woolly monkey, violet-tailed sylph, and mustached tamarin. In the Canopy layer the three-toed sloth is the slowest animal in the world. The Canopy layer also has a two-toed sloth.

Understory Layer Some of the animals that are in the Understory layer are ocelots, jaguars, macaws, and red-eyed-tree frogs.Some of the animals that are in the Understory layer are ocelots, jaguars, macaws, and red-eyed-tree frogs. The Understory layer is the third layer out of all the layers.The Understory layer is the third layer out of all the layers. 7. Forest Floor The Forest floor is the last layer out of all the layers. Most of the animals in the Forest floor are butterflies, earthworms, insects, snakes, anteaters, and giant armadillos. The forest floor sometimes floods.

8. Deforestation People are cutting down trees for good and bad reasons. People are taking important animals and plants for awful reasons. If people cut down trees the animals will be extinct.

9. People of the Rain Forest People of the rainforest are mostly Indians. Some of them can also be rangers. Also there can be people who take care of the rainforest.

10. Conclusion Please help save the rainforest or there will be no life on Earth!
