13. Literature Circle STEPS  1. Get into group.  2. DISCUSSION DIRECTOR writes everyone’s name on the GROUP RECORD SHEET.  3. SUMMARIZER reads their summary for the group to refresh everyone’s memory.  4. DISCUSSION DIRECTOR poses ONE of their questions to the group to discuss.  EACH MEMBER must answer the question or make comments.  5. Call on PASSAGE MASTER to give quotes and explanations for each.  6. Call on WORD REPORTER to explain words found, guiding everyone to that page and paragraph.  7. Call on ILLUSTRATOR to share his/her work – explain why they chose each element.  8. Discussion Director fills out Group Record Sheet.
