The student will: Utilize basic word processing skills to create business correspondence. correspondence (i.e., memo, letter, letterhead or a multi-page report. Apply word processing applications to related academic skills in language Generate a hard copy of business arts/communications. Explain and perform desktop publishing-- graphic applications. Perform skills in word processing applications with 61% accuracy.

The teacher will introduce lesson on Word Processing Review –Creating Business Documents –Memos, Bus. Letters/Letterhead and give the purpose of this lesson. Teacher will review the Frayer Model on Vocabulary Strategy on vocabulary words on Word Processing. Students in pairs will be given a key word to complete Frayer Diagram and share with the class. The teacher will explain the parts of a Bus. Memo. See page 68 on the handout and demonstrate how to type memos. Guided Practice for students: Type Practice Memo on page 74 on handout—Whole Group Activity Independent Practice for students: Type Memo 1 and 2 and 3 on page 75. Submit Memo 1, 2, and 3 to the teacher in Canvas or your file drive for evaluation.
