2. Literacy Reading We will be getting ready for our phonics screen test. We will keep practising our letters and sounds. Handwriting We will keep practising our new cursive handwriting style. Writing We will be looking at the story Rosie’s Walk. all about the farm. We look at and read the story of Peter Pan and get our own ideas for writing our own pirate stories. We are going to write a recount about our trip to the farm using the past test. We will be writing messages in bottles for pirates. We will write our own instructions for how to find treasure. Numeracy We will play position games. We will play what time is it Mr Wolf and use clocks to tell the time. We will make shape pictures using 2D shapes and make nets of 3D shapes. We are going to play games to help us with out number bonds. We will solve lots of problems. Science We will be making split pin skeletons and labelling the body parts. We will be going to the farm to look at farm animals and how to look after them. We will look at how animals are different using their skeletons.
