2 Colorado Employment Skills Certificate A new assessment certificate—Why? o Career Ready Colorado Certificate was used for only one vendor o CRC not well received by all employers o Many employers using the CRC do not have jobs profiled for the required assessments o Many workforce centers do not have financial ability to provide required assessments.

3 Colorado Employment Skills Certificate The Colorado Employment Skills certificate is: o New—developed by staff from various Colorado Workforce Centers o Modifiable—to keep up with new needs and new technology o Storable in Connecting Colorado/available when needed o Transferable across regions
