Itinerary Thursday April 28 th 6:00am – Breakfast 7:30am – Leave hotel 8:00am – Bodie Island Lighthouse 9:00am – Cape Hatteras Lighthouse 11:00am – Ride Hatteras-Ocracoke Ferry 12:00pm – Lunch – Deli Box 12:30pm – Ocracoke Lighthouse and British Cemetery 3:00pm – Ride NC Ferry 6:30pm – Dinner @ Kelly’s Restaurant 8:00pm – Souvenir shopping at Wings 9:30pm – Return to hotel – Ghost Stories of the Outer Banks 10:00pm – All in Rooms

Itinerary Friday April 29 th 6:30am – Breakfast 7:30am – Beach Walk 8:30am – Board busses 9:00am – Wright Brother’s Memorial 11:30am – Lunch – Deli box 12:30pm – Jeannette’s Pier – Science Labs! 4:00pm – Board busses for HOME 6:00pm – Dinner ($5 cash – may need extra) 10:30pm – Return to CMS Please be on time to pick up your child

5. Extra Money The trip is mostly ALL INCLUSIVE – food, hotel, attractions Souvenir Shopping Wings Gift shops at sites Dinner on the ride home Will be given $5 to spend Send extra cash if your child would want more!

6. Medical Info Should have filled out and returned a medical packet with insurance info and permission to treat Any medicines kept in School Nurse’s office will be sent on the trip. No extra paperwork needed. Prescription meds taken outside of school hours MUST HAVE MED FORM FILLED OUT BY DOCTOR ! ONE FORM PER MED! Two different places to sign School Staff administer meds OR Parent permission for student to self-medicate (additional student contract to be signed with student and nurse)

7. Medical Info – OTC Meds Over The Counter meds to be self administered by student Advil, Tylenol, Cold medicine, OTC allergy meds, etc. MUST HAVE A NOTE FROM PARENT Medicine name Amount to be taken Time to be taken Parent signature Meds in original container Least amount of med needed (3-day dosage)

8. What to Pack ONE suitcase for under the bus and a backpack/purse/small bag for ON the bus LUNCH FOR FIRST DAY!!!! Food and a screw top drink Clothing – Needs to meet dress code Temperatures ranging from 55 – 69 Light weight rain jacket or windbreaker “Dress Up” for dance – optional Pajamas Shoes – LOTS OF WALKING Possibility of sand (Jockey’s Ridge and Beach Walk) Flip flops in carry on

What to Pack Electronics and charger May bring phones as cameras and to check in Remember, you paid for them to have a new experience, not just to let them text all day in new surroundings Earbuds Toiletries Shampoo, conditioner, DEODERANT, toothbrush, toothpaste Combs/brushes, straighteners, hair ties (hairdryers in the room) Band Aids, feminine products Snacks In carry on bag – CLEAN UP TRASH!!!! Medications Extra Money Pillow and small blanket for bus in carry on Movies (PG) for bus

10. Important Reminders BE AT SCHOOL BY 6:00AM next Wednesday!!!! We WILL NOT be able to wait for late students! Busses are ROLLING at 6:30am! Pack a lunch and drink for the first day! We will call when we are 1 hour away! Scheduled to arrive Friday at 10:30pm. Please arrive ON TIME to pick up your child! Arrange for carpooling BEFORE leaving for the trip!!!
