10 EARLY COLLEGE STUDY TABLES  Early College Study Tables for all Early College students will be Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 2:30 – 3:30  All students will need to sign up with Club Inspire to ensure you have a place to go to after 3:30.  Club Inspire provides a snack after school and a bus ride home if you need it.

11 WIN A CAR  Got a driver’s license?  Got five bucks?  Want to win a car?  Comb by the Athletic Office to buy a raffle ticket for out Ford Fusion giveaway before it is too late!  Drawing takes place Friday!

12 WRESTLING SECTIONALS  This Saturday the Wolves wrestling team will be traveling to LaPorte for sectionals.  On each participating wrestler’s locker you will find a sign.  Help cheer on your fellow Wolves by writing a short phrase wishing them luck on Saturday.

13 RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE   Thursday, January 28th   Please sign up during your lunch hour on Monday if you would like to donate.   Help save a life!

14 LGBTA Club  Friday, January 29 will be the next meeting of the LGBTA club.  All students are welcome to the meeting even if you did not make it to the first one.  We will meet in room A236 until 3:00 p.m.  If you have any questions please see Ms. Geyer or Mr. Gillman

15 CLASS of 2016 There will be a meeting this Thursday, January 28 right after school in room A113

16 21 st ANNUAL WINTER BALL  January 30 at the Uptown Center from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.  Tickets are $25.00 (cash or money orders – checks)  Semi-formal dress is required  No student will be allowed to attend who is on Social Probation  You may bring a guest with permission from the Principal’s office from both schools

17 UNLEASHED Poetry Club Members Come sign up for Hotter Than A Steel Mill 2016 Hotter Than A Steel Mill 2016 Sign up sheet is outside A204 The slam is February 6 at Merrillville High School Includes a workshop, lunch and competition

18 BLACK HISTORY MONTH  The Human Rights Commission is sponsoring a Black History Month Contest.  This year the theme is “A Century of African- American Life, History and Culture.”  The category for high school is Essays/Poetry.  Entries must be submitted to the MC Human Rights Department by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29.  Stop by the main office for an entry form.
