Lat.; and (b) the vessel enters and exits west of Buldir Island or through the Amchitcka or Unimak Passes; and (c) the vessel is equipped and properly fitted with two independent marine radar sets, a global positioning receiver (or a Loran-C positioning receiver), a radio transceiver and GMDSS, a weather facsimile recorder (or alternative equipment for the receipt of weather and routeing information) and a gyrocompass, in each case to be fully operational and manned by qualified personnel; and (d) the vessel is in possession of appropriate navigational charts corrected up to date, sailing directions and pilot books. 15 15 Marsh Operators of v essels entering, navigating or remaining within the excluded areas (1-10) should obtain underwriter’s approval before doing so. UNDERWRITERS MIGHT DECLINE TO COVER SUCH VOYAGES. As well as possible additional premiums and specific conditions, Underwriters might require JH 132 (31/10/2003) to be applied, before they will grant cover for the voyage.
