● Anotace: Prezentaci je možné využít při výuce maturitních témat z anglického jazyka, konkrétně tématu English speaking countries - Canada. Prezentace je zaměřena na zajímavosti a fakta spojená se životem v Kanadě. Slouží k procvičení a rozšíření slovní zásoby. Můžeme popisovat obrázky. Lze využít pro studenty 1.- 4. ročníku. ● Metodické pokyny: Při prezentaci jednotlivých slidů se studenti seznamují se zajímavostmi a fakty typickými pro Kanadu a pak následují otázky ve formě kvízu. Prezentaci je možné využít při výkladu i při opakování tématu.

Alouette 1 ● Meaning – Lark (a bird known for its beautiful singing) ● The very first Canadian space satellite, also the first satellite constructed in other country than USA or USSR (British Ariel 1 was launched 5 months earlier, but constructed in the USA) ● Launched in 1962

Canada Goose ● One of Canadian national symbols ● Its special features are a black head and a black neck ● An outdoor clothes brand is called after this goose ● Among other national symbols are a beaver, a common loon, the Crown, and the RCMP
