5. LesTitres Adults are greeted with titles to accompany their last names. Titles may be abbreviated when the last name appears. Monsieur—M. Madame—Mme. Mademoiselle—Mlle. Docteur—Dr.

6. Presentations To introduce yourself, you may use the same words regardless of your audience. Je m’appelle... To ask an adult’s name, you must use a more formal phrase.  Comment vous appelez-vous? these two words indicate forms of polite address

When you meet someone for the first time, say “nice to meet you” or “it was my pleasure”.  Bonjour, monsieur. 8. Apres... After saying hello, people usually ask how they are feeling or how things are going.  Bon soir, mademoiselle.  Bon soir. Comment ca va?  Tres bien, merci. Et vous?  Donc, assez bien.
