Chapter 19: Social Policy and Employment M O N T E N E G R O Negotiating Team for the Accession of Montenegro to the European Union Chapter 19: SOCIAL POLICY AND EMPLOYMENT NATIONAL LEGISTLATION Council Directive 2005/47/EC of 18 July 2005 on the Agreement between the Community of European Railways (CER) and the European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF) on certain aspects of the working conditions of mobile workers engaged in interoperable cross-border services in the railway sector NATIONAL LEGISTLATION LAW ON SAFETY IN RAILWAY TRANSPORT Article 5 Railway transport shall be carried out in accordance with this law, other laws and regulations in the field of railway transport, and in international railway transport, also in accordance with international agreements ratified by Montenegro and international railway regulations. Signatories to the CER Agreement: - Railway Infrastructure AD - MONTECARGO AD Working time, shift duration and rest periods of the driving and station staff, rest facilities, defined by the Law, Art.74-82

Chapter 19: Social Policy and Employment M O N T E N E G R O Negotiating Team for the Accession of Montenegro to the European Union Chapter 19: SOCIAL POLICY AND EMPLOYMENT SITUATION IN MONTENEGRO Train drivers of our transporter drive to the border of a neighbouring state, after which the locomotive is taken over by the train driver of the state in which it is entered (which has been defined by cross-border agreements with Serbia and Albania) The maximum length of the line in the railway transport in the territory of Montenegro is 154 km (in total, approximately 4 hours of drive time) with 4 stations
