ATTITUDE INVENTORY Debtors, Creditors and Bankruptcy Business Law II -- Chapter 33

Elaine: “I love credit cards. You can buy what you want when you want, and you don’t even feel it. It’s like not spending money at all!”

Arthur: “Using credit sometimes just makes more sense. For example, if I’m going to have to save for, say, a personal computer, then I’d rather have the use of the computer while I’m doing it. You see what I mean?”

Preston: “Credit’s the only way to go, man. TV, car, stereo, fancy clothes—I’m gonna have it all. Afford? What’s to afford? The way I look at it, I’m just rentin’ the stuff till I lose it. I mean, you gotta enjoy life while you’re young, right?”

Dina: “Everyone should have a credit card or two. Really, just think about it. If you lose your job or something, that may be the only thing you have to live on.”

Emily: “I make sure I have a very good reason for pulling out that card. It has to be an emergency or a really special, unexpected purchase before I buy on credit. And nothing small either. If I’ve got enough to cover it in my wallet, I pay cash.”
