3 Measuring Volumes  Gay-Lussac law of combining volumes of gases: @ STP, the volume of gaseous reactants and products can be expressed as ratios of small whole numbers.  Avogadro's Law: Equal volumes of gases at the same temperature and pressure contain an equal number of particles.  V = Kn (K is a constant and n is amount of gas)  H 2(g) + O 2(g) = H 2 0 (g)

4 Volume to Moles:  Standard molar value of a gas: 22.4 L = 1 mole @STP.
