They woke up on 12/28 and went to class at 1000hrs, leaving their room unlocked. They returned at approximately 1300hrs and discovered the PlayStation with two remote controllers and three games missing. A suspect is being investigated. Freeman St: On 12/29 at approximately 1358hrs, officers were dispatched for a residential alarm. Upon arrival, officers conducted a search of the exterior. Officers discovered the side porch entrance door open and broken glass spread evenly over the kitchen floor. On the floor of the porch was an outdoor thermometer that appeared to have been affixed to the now broken window. There was also a brick laying on the second stair from the top with a few shards of the window glass beside it. Officers believe the alarm scared off the intruder, and no property has been reported stolen at this time. Griggs Rd: On 12/31 at approximately 1955hrs, officers were dispatched for a breaking and entering. The residents stated that they had left their home at 1700hrs and returned at 1955hrs. The reporting person was the landlord of the property and also a resident. Upon arrival, officers quickly realized that two addresses were broken into. The POE appeared to be a glass window next to the front door handle with was broken. Once the suspect broke this window they would be able to reach inside to unlock the door. The tenant was on vacation since 12/26 and returned 1/1. Officers were able to contact the tenant and learned that the only item stolen was an Imac desktop computer. Dean Rd: On 1/2 at approximately 2000hrs, officers responded to a call for a residential alarm. Upon arrival, officers discovered the POE was the front door. The door had a window in it which was shattered. Officers found blood in the house, which lead them to believe that the suspect was still on scene when they arrived, and that he hurt himself while fleeing the scene in a hurry.
