18 Safe Zones  Safe Zones identified in the South Yuba County Evacuation Plan: Yuba College Lindhurst High School Sleep Train Amphitheatre  Identified Safe Zones can be used as a: Safe Zone/Information Center for evacuees Staging area for supplies/equipment Alternate location for Incident Command Post Mass care shelter  If a safe zone is located within the hazard area residents will be directed to another location

19 Localized Flooding 2005 – 2006 winter storms exposed internal drainage problems, including flooding on identified evacuation routes Plumas-Arboga Road, Forty Mile Road, and Algodon Road
