As Tommy walked home with the money from the church he had stolen in his pocket, powerful feelings of remorse bubbled in his stomach. 2. Jeremiah joked around so much that when he told the others about the accident that had occurred, they didn't believe that he was being earnest. 3. The lady decided that it was tea time and so, by jingling a tiny silver bell, she beckoned her servants to attend.

Jewish girl who had to go into hiding during WW2 to escape the Nazis June 12, 1929-February, 1945 (15 years old) Born in Germany, but fled to Amsterdam and was trapped there Went into hiding in July 1942 in the building where her father worked Hid for two years, was betrayed and sent to the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp in northern Germany. She and her sister died there, likely of typhus Anne’s father survived and got her diary published in 1947 The Diary of a Young Girl
