Unity Application Generator Step 7a: Generating PLC

Schneider Electric 2 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●After performing step mentioned in document “6- Before Generate.ppt”, click on MyPLC under Topological Model. ●Click on GENERATE PLC ●This window will appear: ●Note: Since we don’t want to save the previous version, click “NO”.

Schneider Electric 3 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●UAG will start generating the project, this window will appear. Check for different messages stating the activity being performed by UAG. “E” stands for error, “W” stands for warning and “I” stands for Info”. ●After success full completion, this message will appear: ●Check there must be no errors. Having warnings should not be an issue.

Schneider Electric 4 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Now Click on “MyPLC” and then open Unity by click Unity icon: 1. Click on “MyPLC” 2. Click on “Unity” icon to open the project

Schneider Electric 5 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Unity Pro will be opened with the project “MyPLC”. ●Check that UAG has successfully and automatically generated the variables, DFBs, DDTs, Sections and communications.

Schneider Electric 6 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Set addresses of the simulator by Clicking on PLC Set address. ●This window will appear. Ensure the parameters are entered as shown in this window:

Schneider Electric 7 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Ensure that PLC is in simulation mode by clicking on PLC Simulation mode ●Build the PLC program by clicking on BUILD Re- build all project. ●Unity Pro will start building the project and this window pop up:

Schneider Electric 8 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●After the successful completion of the building process, check for this message box stating there is no error. Warnings creates no problems. ●Connect to the PLC by clicking on PLC Connect. ●Check for this status of the bar:

Schneider Electric 9 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Download the project into the PLC by clicking on PLC Transfer Project to PLC ●This window will appear. ●Click on “PLC RUN AFTER TRANSFER” then click on “transfer”.

Schneider Electric 10 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●This window will appear: ●Followed by this window: ●Click on OK. ●This window will appear indicating that the PLC is in RUN mode and Built.

Schneider Electric 11 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Click on Unit-Equip1 and check for the DFBs defined as Control modules in the equipment. ●Also, check for the links which are generated by UAG.
