Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
9
Languages. “Other tongues” – other languages
10
Acts 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
12
Acts 2:7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
13
Miraculous! The Jews who had come from different places were hearing the message in their own language.

IS NOT RELIGION “Do this, do this, do this, do this, do this.” IS CHRIST “Stop ‘doing’ them. Trust what already is done.”
24
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
28
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
29
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
30
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
31
Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
32
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
33
Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
34
Acts 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. 25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
35
Acts 2:25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: 26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: 27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
36
Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
37
“Patriarch” – “patri-arch”, “chief father” Compare: “archangel”, “chief angel” One of Israel’s “chief fathers” is David. David is not your Patriarch. David is not my Patriarch. David has nothing to do with the Gentiles. David was a Jewish king. Peter said, “Men and brethren.” (This is according to the flesh here.)
38
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
39
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
40
Peter did not say, “All you Gentiles.” We are Gentiles. We are not Jews. Peter did not include the Gentiles in this. He is preaching to Jews, who said, “Let Him be crucified. We have no king but Caesar.”
41
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
42
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
43
Peter then said, verse 38, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, because He died for your sins. If you trust Him…” No! Peter says, “Repent.”
44
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
45
The gospel of the kingdom was preached by: John the Baptist Jesus The Twelve Apostles “If you really believe Jesus is the King, be baptized.”

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
48
ACTS 2:40 “Save yourselves from this untoward generation.” ROMANS 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
49
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
50
They have signs of the kingdom. Israel is looking for that day when Jesus will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords over all the earth, in Jerusalem, in the Millennial kingdom. The lame will leap like a hart (a deer). The blind will see. The dumb will speak. A little child can play with a poisonous snake.
51
If Israel had given “glory to God in the highest” first, instead of crucifying the Son of God, Christ would have set up His kingdom and there would have been “on earth peace, goodwill toward men”. Man did not want it; this did not take God by surprise. In God’s providence it is put off until Jesus comes again.
52
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. http://www.sofa-bed-mattress.com/Images/RV.jpg Picture from:
53
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
54
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
55
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted” “…that your sins may be blotted, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”
56
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
57
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
58
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
59
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
60
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
61
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
62
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
63
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
64
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
65
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted…” “…that your sins may be blotted, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” “By grace are ye saved through faith” “Christ died for the ungodly.”
