2. MAY 2013 SCHEDULE Math All Grades - May 7 th & 8th See Schedule for times Science, Technology & Engineering 8 th grade ONLY – May 14 th & 16 th Questionnaire to be given to 8th Graders Please see schedule for room changes on these two days.

3. Prior to the testing dates…. The TAM will be placed in your mailbox. Please sign and return the half-slip, confirming receipt of the manual. Please read and review the TAM for your specific test administration role.

4. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS REVIEW Test Administrators may not: REVIEW MCAS materials REVIEW student answers DUPLICATE MCAS materials ASSIST students with test items PROVIDE accommodations (unless documented in IEP) LEAVE students unsupervised TAKE MCAS materials out of the building (only the TAM)

5. PRIOR TO TEST ADMINISTRATION Please Read the TAM before testing to ensure you are reading proper test administration directions. Please pick up black boxes in the Guidance Suite between 7:45AM and 8:10AM Check your testing space for content area materials that need to be covered up.

6. PRIOR TO TEST ADMINISTRATION Calculators are allowed for Session II of Math ONLY (May 8, 2013) NO Calculators for 6 th grade MCAS (Session I or Session II) NO Graphing Calculators NO Cell Phones used as Calculators

7. TEST ADMINISTRATION NO Bubbling (except for the form number on the inside of the Answer booklet) Please have students write (Not Bubble): FIRST and LAST NAME SCHOOL NAME DISTRICT NAME on their answer booklets. Please make sure students are on the CORRECT test session at all times. Write Question Numbers on the board NO CELL PHONES (even for a calculator)

8. AFTER TESTING Reading books or magazines ONLY Admin will communicate a few minutes before testing is over Students needing extra time will be escorted to the auditorium or designated overflow location.

9. AFTER TESTING Please make sure pencils are sharpened when students are done. Please separate test booklets and answer booklets Booklets should be in alphabetical order with the spine up (for easier counting) Return black box immediately after testing is completed.

10. SPED / 504 ACCOMMODATIONS See list for small group locations and proctors Math reference sheets and graphic organizers will be in your black box. SPED teachers will communicate with proctors about accommodations. SPED teachers will communicate with students about testing locations. IA proctors will receive their materials from SPED liaisons black boxes. Most students will not use technology for Math.
