We invited the internationally renowned Mr. Tadao Ando to be the architectural designer of our project. Our project will focus on children and family related themes- a combination of family activities, arts and culture and edutainment together within the confines of a shopping mall.

11 PART 1 Market Research 300 Million 100 Million 25 % 9%9% 1 Trillion 3 Trillion Number of children under the age 14 in China. The percentage of total household consumption that is spent on children. Children and infant industry in China had already reached 1 trillion RMB in 2011. Of the 300 million children in China, 100 million live in the city. Children-related consumption is growing at the rate of 9 percent every year. The children and infant industry in China is estimated to reach 3 trillion RMB by the end of 2015.

12 PART 1 Market Research Within the first tier cities of China 69% of the people are couples with children or couples that are planning to have children. (47% of the parents were born in the 1970s, 36% in the 1980s ) The average time that people spend in the traditional shopping mall is 1 hour, the average time people stay in the family- oriented shopping centers is 4.3 hours. Along with the 4 th peak of baby boom that will be happening in 2015 and the opening of Chinese government’s one- child policy, the children-related industry will be reaching it’s new peak in the near future. 第四次 人口生育高峰
