Interpretation:- Data analysis towards understanding overall IT job/staff requirement in Ahmedabad, data was generated by taking reference of ITESpro’s last year’s database and quantitative calculation. Most data was provided by ITESpro with their industry resources. As per this analysis, total numbers of IT job placements were approximately 5219 for FY

To analyze IT recruitment business in Ahmedabad. To study the Recruitment process of IT industry. A brief study of all the parameters related to IT related staff recruitments of IT Industry in Ahmedabad and also I.T recruitment processes.

Research Methodology Title of the Research: Project Objective:
Employment trends of IT Industry in Ahmedabad. Project Objective: To understand the business scope and methods of recruitment in a Staffing Firm including training on candidate sourcing and screening for the client companies and to analyze the trends of IT industry in Ahmedabad.

Project Overview: Rigorous interviews of Ahmedabad’s most IT placement consultancies to capture all facts and figures of industry Also participated in sourcing , screening and interviewing multiple candidates to understand the recruitment process. Candidates were interviewed and then potential candidates were shortlisted. During the tenure of the project I learnt to put the candidates under assessment tests and schedule them for further rounds. Setting the area under the study: The area of the research study is AHMEDABAD. (State Gujarat, India)

Research Design: Data Sources:
Primary Sources: Primary Data and information is obtained from phone discussion with the company representative of various IT Placement consultancies in Ahmedabad and qualitative analysis of the data received by each company. Analysis is done using data of 20 companies who provided full information and figures. Secondary Sources: The data collected from information available with ITESpro from their company database. Also some theories were referred from Internet web sites, for example and reference books. Research Design: The overall research of IT companies in Ahmedabad was done by optimization database of ITESpro and using reliable online source such as Linkedin, Research and analysis of IT recruitment business in Ahmedabad is totally based on quantities analysis done from the data gathered from 20 Ahmedabad based placement consultancies, companies were segregated in three levels based on the size of their overall HR recruitment team. The above prescribed research has been done by qualitative analysis and Descriptive.

Interpretation: 40% market share is to be covered by top 10 consultancies. 20% by top 11 to 24 consultancies Remaining 40% by the remaining 40% consultancies in Ahmedabad

Placements by different size of Consultancies:
Interpretation: About 2088 placements are processed by top 10 consultancies which are also known as large Consultancies. 1044 placements are processed by mid size consultancies which are about 15 in numbers. 2088 by the remaining smaller consultancies which are about 75 in numbers.

Average Placements by each consultancy:
Interpretation: On an average 209 candidates are to catered by large size recruitment consultancies, 75 candidates are to catered by mid size consultancies. 28 candidates are to cater by the remaining 75 recruitment consultancies.

Estimated Revenue per consultancy:
Interpretation: Approximate average revenue of Rs. 52,19,000 is generated yearly by each top 10 recruitment consultancies as a whole. 18,63,929 is generated yearly by each mid level recruitment consultancies as a whole. 6, 95, 867 is generated yearly by each small recruitment consultancies as a whole.

Findings In , the highest requirement of IT sector in Ahmedabad found is of PHP programming language with positions. It has been found that approximately 40% of market share is captured by the top 10 recruitment consultancy in Ahmedabad. The approximate number of placements catered by the large size consultancies is 2088 in FY The approximate number of placements catered by each large size consultancies is 209 FY The approximate average revenue generated by each large size consultancy is Rs FY

Limitation of the study
Every research study has its own limitations and present research work is no exceptions to this rule. The inherent limitations of the study are as under: The 6 week program for the whole study of the IT industry and all languages projects is not possible. Getting response from busy consultancies for our project and research work was little difficult as most of them denied sharing their internal data or information.

Conclusion This research and analysis portraits the overall scope and opportunities of IT placement and recruitment business in Ahmedabad and Gujarat region. It also helps us realize the potential of IT business and job opportunities for FY and future. Research conducted is helpful to analyse many financial and functional facts of figures. This data can be used for any future estimation and predictions for considering overall potential of IT industry and therefore IT staffing business in this region and India.HR staffing and recruitment domain is a high potential function where any HR professional can build a fruitful career. HR recruitment role requires high level of networking and interpersonal abilities to have a promising career as HR recruitment professional. Domain knowledge is equally important and critical.
