7. Style Carries pollen to the ovary (part of pistil)

8. Ovary Contains the seeds. (part of pistil)

9. Stamen The male part of the flower.

10. Anther Contains sacs of pollen. (part of Stamen)

11. Filament Holds up the anther. (part of Stamen)

18. This is the easiest / best flower to use for the Flower Dissection Lab on Monday. Please do NOT pick a flower from someone’s yard unless you have permission. I would suggest bringing the flower in a small plastic container. You can snip it from the stalk just below the Sepal’s.
