Red clover is a short-lived herbaceous perennial plant that grows to a height of 15 to 36 inches (30 to 90 cm). It is easy to recognize red clover by its fine leafy stems, its leaves of three, and its rose-pink oval flower heads. When the crop is harvested for use as an herb (or for hay), the plants are cut during early bloom.

Mung Bean Sprouts are most commonly seen big and thick rooted. They are common in Chinese cuisine. Commercial Mung Beans are grown with chemicals and gasses in huge 500 gallon machines.
4
Germination is the process where growth begins from a resting stage. Flower seeds, which are mature ovules of plants, contain an embryo and stored food. Seeds are able to resume growth, or germinate, when the embryonic tissue is allowed to continue growing. When this happens, a radicle (the root) emerges from the seed. This period can also be called "establishment," and indicates that germination is complete because the seedling is no longer relying on its food reserves.
5
Seeds require consistent moisture to grow. Seeds do not sprout or that dry out will go dormant. Once the seeds begin receiving moisture and proper growing conditions, the seeds will germinate.
6
To germinate, mung beans are washed and rinsed in cold water. They are then drained and placed in a bowl or other container where they are covered in cold water to an amount that is two to three times more than the seeds. They are soaked overnight, drained, rinsed and drained again. The beans are placed in a jar that is covered in cheesecloth and placed in a warm place that doesn't get direct sunlight.
